Edwumawura Nduom ready to join 2016 campaign
.........Says Ghanaians should seek the best, to wit...
"Per Papa Preko!"
Dr. Papa Kwesi Nduom is getting ready to join the 2016 election campaign.
When the 2012 election results were declared, Dr. Nduom sided with the Progressive People's Party (PPP) to present a petition to the Electoral Commission with specific reform recommendations including the use of the National Identification Database to register voters and electronic voting.
Since then, he has encouraged the PPP to continue to recommend policy changes that would improve the standard of living of Ghanaians.
Dr. Nduom has worked hard with Groupe Nduom management and staff and his family to create thousands of jobs for Ghanaians. He has also led his companies to make strategic investments outside the country to earn much needed foreign currency for the country. He is known and recognized everywhere as "Edwumawura".
The time has now come and Dr. Nduom has prepared himself and the PPP to begin an active, vigorous election campaign. His campaign will be policy driven. Dr. Nduom will focus on advocating for specific changes to be made to the 1992 constitution, our national attitude, democratic practices, etc.
He will campaign seriously with PPP parliamentary candidates to ensure the party wins seats to gain advocates in the legislature who will move for changes to be made to the 1992 constitution.
Dr. Nduom will preach to Ghanaians and ask for their votes because he has the right talent to solve the current challenges facing Ghanaians - economy and job creation.
He recognizes that Nana Akufo-Addo and Ivor Greenstreet have talent as lawyers; that President John Mahama has talent as a communicator; and that Dr. Edward Mahama has talent as a medical doctor. Nonetheless, he believes that the talents he has practiced successfully as an economic and financial expert plus entrepreneur are the ones Ghana needs now.
Dr. Nduom will tell Ghanaians that no one is perfect. But we must all re-dedicate ourselves and make sure we kill and remove the rot of corruption from our country - government, elections, businesses, churches and mosques and society in general. He will challenge everyone contesting the presidential elections to make a personal commitment against corruption by making their tax returns and their asset declarations public.
Dr. Nduom will ask Ghanaians not to settle for less, or fall for the "wasted vote" propaganda and end up voting for "the lesser of two evils". Dr. Nduom will tell all Ghanaians, respectfully, "Per Papa Preko!"
