The Amakom office of ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the Ashanti region is reported to have been gutted by fire on Sunday morning.

According to a StarrFMonline source, the windows and doors of the building which houses the office were allegedly burnt down in a blazing fire.
Eye witneses said they saw a vehicle quickly speed off after the fire had started.
The emptied gallons of kerosene
When Alex Ackon, the Ashanti regional minister visited the site in the company of the Kumasi mayor, Kojo Bonsu, some gallons of kerosene were found littered around the premises.
The affected building also houses the Ashanti regional chairman of the party’s office which is the most affected.
